Bay Area Legal Aid provides legal assistance with restraining orders and the preparation of VAWA petitions in Contra Costa County and is integral to all efforts related to domestic violence.

 

Community Violence Solutions, the sole provider and leader in sexual assault services in Contra Costa County, provides advocacy, crisis intervention, counseling and ongoing support groups for survivors of sexual assault and abuse, child sexual abuse, and victims of human trafficking.

 

Richmond Police Department, Family Services Unit brings a strong commitment to victim safety as well investigative expertise to the FJC.  It is the mission of the Family Services Unit to end the cycle of violence prevalent in child abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault and elder abuse cases by holding perpetrators accountable through prosecution. 

 

STAND! for Families Free of Violence, the sole provider and leader in domestic violence services in Contra Costa County, provides case management, therapeutic services, advocacy, and ongoing support groups for survivors of domestic violence as well as child abuse survivors. 

 

Survivor Committee, comprised of variety of survivors of interpersonal violence, VOICES provides critical insight and evaluation of the center, ensuring that every interaction a victim has with the center is warm, welcoming, supportive, and client-centered.  VOICES meet several times a year to evaluate the services and solicit feedback from clients to ensure that we stay true to our mission of keeping victims at the center of our work.
